Homer - A memorial service for Jack E. Black, 54 of Homer, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Homer Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carol R. Weiss officiating. Burial will be in Homer Cemetery.
Jack died January 29, 2012 at Selma Markowitz Center/LMH, Newark. He was born September 5, 1957, in Mount Gilead, to his beloved parents the late Robert O. and Hazel B. (Edman) Black. His life-long interests included travel and researching sports history.
He was a member of Homer Presbyterian Church and friend to many in the community, whose care in his hour of need is gratefully acknowledged..
He is survived by several cousins.
