Jackie L. Wood Young

There will be no calling hours for Jackie Wood Young. Jackie passed away at her home in Nampa, Idaho on November 11, 2015.

Jackie was born June 24, 1973 in Rensselaer, IN to the late Jackie Lee and Christine (Wears) Wood.

Jackie grew up in the Utica-Newark area and was in the Army stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Before moving to Idaho Jackie was a member of the Heath Church of Christ.

Jackie is survived by her mother and step-father, Christine and Jack Ransom of Utica; her husband, Mike Young of Idaho; her children, Darius Franklin of Nampa, Idaho, Michael Wood Vela of Flint, MI, and son/brother Mark Flowers II of Utica; her brothers and sisters Melissa Ludwig and spouse, Denise of Utica, Faye Wood of Laurel, MT, Autumn Myers Trout of Utica, Megan Myers of Coshocton, Felicia Eckstein of Idaho, Derek Eckstein of Idaho and Kyle Hunt of Willoughby; two step-sisters, one step-brother and her favorite uncle Scott Gilbreath of Utica.

Jackie is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Marlene Gilbreath and Sarah Keiffer; grandpa, Charles Grennell, step-grandfather, Leonard Gilbreath, aunt, Michele Gilbreath, uncle Rick Francis and cousin, Michael Andrik Gilbreath.

Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica assisted the family with arrangements.
