Jacob M. Swartzentruber, 70 of Utica, OH died at his residence on Monday, July 27, 2026 after a battle with cancer.

He was born on March 26, 1956 to the late Mose and Saloma Swartzentruber. On May 6, 1980 he married Saloma Byler. He was a member of the Old Order Amish.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Dennis (Elizabeth) Swartzentruber of Utica and Enos (Elizabeth) Swartzentruber of Gambier; daughters, Sarah (Henry) Miller of Utica, Lovina (Jacob) Miller of Utica, Esta (Sammie) Miller of Utica, Annie (Jacob) Slaubach of Utica, Edna (Reuben) Hershberger of Walhonding, Emma (Johnny) Hershberger of Utica, Miriam (Andy) Miller of the home, Dena (Dannie) Miller of Utica, Mary (Rudy) Hershberger of Howard; son-in-law, Christy Miller; 69 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 7 brothers and 4 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Miller; and 3 brothers.

Friends may call anytime at the residence, 10036 Camp Ohio Rd., Utica, OH. Service will be held at 9am Friday, July 31, 2026 at the residence. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.
