James "John" Endicott, 71 of Johnstown passed away on March 25, 2026. He was born on June 21, 1954 in Celina, OH to the late Carl and Ellen (Fisher) Endicott.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan (Raines) Endicott; daughter, Jennifer (Anthony) Smith; son, Jonathan Endicott; grandsons, Tyler Harter and Kyle (Olivia) Harter; sister, Sandy Rickard; brother-in-law, Wayne (Debbie) Raines; sister-in-law, Ginny Conrad; niece, Mel Roberts; nephew, Jeff (Stephanie) Dick; and many other nieces and nephews in Celina; and his cat, Bubba.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Endicott.

John started his career doing contract work for telephone companies which allowed him and Susie to travel to California, Mexico, Texas and Michigan. He retired from Embarq.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 2-5pm at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. A private family service will follow.
