James S. Griffith

A graveside service for James S. Griffith, 78 of Utica will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at Homer Cemetery with Don Allen officiating.

Mr. Griffith passed away on June 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born on October 6, 1940 in Homer to the late Dexter and Mary Ella (May) Griffith.

James was a member of Christ the King Community Church in Fredericktown. He was a retired truck driver from Signal Delivery Service and was an avid motorcycle rider.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon K. (Davis) Griffith; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sharon Griffith of Utica; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Alvin Tupas of Broken Arrow, OK; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and aunt, Ruth Anderson.

Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elmer, Paul and Ramon Griffith.
