James K. Kissell
Blacklick - A funeral service for James K. Kissell, 66, formerly of Utica, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 24, 2012 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Alan Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call 2:00-5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica.
Jim died December 20, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1946, in Newark to James B. and Kathryn E. (Rauch) Kissell.
Jim retired after 36 years of over the road trucking. He was a former member of The Utica American Legion, Post 92.
He is survived by his son, Jason Kissell of Blacklick, daughters and son-in-law, Kim Kissell of Blacklick, Jamie and Bob Pardee of Johnstown; granddaughters, Annika Pardee and Mallorie Kissell, mother, Kathryn E. Kissell of Granville, sisters and brothers-in-law, Bev and John Cooke, Karen and Jeff Hall all of Westerville; sisters-in-law, Donna Flack, Pam and Jim Vogel all of Heath, Mae and Terry Hoff of Mount Vernon; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Catherine G. Kissell who passed away July 7, 2009 and father, James B. Kissell.
