James B. Lake

James B. Lake, 71, of Newark passed away on September 10, 2020 at the Selma Markowitz Center in Newark. He was born on April 25, 1949 in Mt. Vernon to the late Willis Day and Helen Annamae (Barncord) Lake.

Jim loved to read, cook and visit with his neighbors.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Charles McDonald; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Vivian Edman, Gwen Johnson and Mary Helen Johns.

A private service will be held at a later date.
