Janet E. Taylor
Utica - A funeral service for Janet E. Taylor, 71 of Utica, will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Frank Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery.
Friends may call 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, Wednesday, December 4 at the funeral home.
Janet died November 29, 2013 at Flint Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center, Newark. She was born August 6, 1942, in Mount Vernon to the late George D. and Mildred L. (Bell) Taylor.
Janet was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 92, Utica and a lifetime member of ASPCA for the Protection of Abused Animals.
She is survived by her son, Randy Scott Hopkins of Utica; brothers, David E. Taylor of Pataskala, Robert A. Taylor of St. Charles, MO; sister, Shirley Thacker of Johnstown; nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Larry K. Taylor.
