Janice A. Wright

A funeral service for Janice A. Wright, 55, of Utica, OH, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2025, at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the funeral home, 34 N. Main St. Utica, OH.

Jan passed away February 18, 2025, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. She was born December 7, 1969, in Newark, OH, to the late Fred and Linda (Hall) Maidel.

Jan was a 1988 graduate of Utica High School and JVS. She was an eligibility specialist for Centene.

She is survived by her husband Terry L. Wright; daughters, Jessica, Jaclynn, and Janae Wright; sisters, Shari Maidel, Joan (Bill) Pyles, and Fredda (James) Rinard; nieces and nephews, Neal (Casey) Maidel, Nathaniel Maidel, Heather Pyles, Josh (Paige) Wright, and Abby Rinard; bonus daughter, Brooklyn Dixon; mother-in-law, Mary Wright, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Betty Hall, and paternal grandparents, Bus and Ruth Maidel.
