A Celebration of Life for Jeffrey J. Rey, 79, of St. Louisville, OH, will be held starting at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Freddie's Inn, 8352 Mt. Vernon Rd, St. Louisville, OH 43071. Please join us anytime that evening and bring your favorite "Jeffy" story to share!

Jeff passed away surrounded by his family on October 25, 2025, at the Kobacker House. He was born November 7, 1945, in Newark, OH, to the late John and Goldie (Hurst) Rey.

Jeff was a proud United States Air Force Veteran who dedicated his life to hard work and friendship. He spent many years turning wrenches and retired from MPW Industrial Services. Jeff loved the outdoors and could often be found camping where he built the biggest campfires and shared the biggest stories with friends and family. He was a devoted Ohio State fan always wearing his lucky OSU hat. Known for his outgoing personality, Jeff never met a stranger—his kindness and humor touched everyone he met. He especially cherished his mornings spent with the coffee club at Glenn's Market, sharing stories and laughter over a good cup of coffee, a JJ pie or putting away groceries.

He is survived by his children, Carla (Tom) Sage, Jeremiah "JJ" (Heather) Rey, Tabatha (Randy Parr) Hall, and Eric (Dee) Lyon; grandchildren, Maddox Rey, Madison Parsons, Erica (Andrew) Hutton, and Jacob and Ian Lyon; mother-in-law, Diane Noble; his "farm dog" , Chloe; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his campground family who treated him like royalty.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vicky Sue (Noble) Rey, and grandson, Christopher Lyon.
