February 28, 1929 - November 2, 2016
John A. Henson, 87 of Homer, Ohio passed away on November 2, 2016 at his residence with his wife and beloved dog Lola present. He was born on February 28, 1929 in Powell, Ohio.
John was the former owner of John's Restaurant in Westerville and later the Sunbury Grill. After retirement he tended bar at the Pioneer Restaurant in Utica and golfed as much as possible.
John was a kind man that deeply loved his family. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joy L. Henson; sons, Keith (Becky) Henson and J.T. Henson; daughter, Brenda (Brian) Young; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
A private service will be held at a later date.
