Utica - There will be a memorial service at a later date for John L. Humphrey, Sr., 62 of , Utica.
John died May 11, 2012 at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark. He was born May 1, 1950, in Newark to Maxine (Frost) Canturberry and the late Robert P. Humphrey.
John owned Buckeye Roofing for over 30 years and was a long time member of AA. He loved fishing and riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his mother, Maxine Canturberry of Mansfield, son, Johnny L. Humphrey, Jr. of Mount Vernon and sister, Linda Cross of Oregon.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Humphrey.
