Joretta E. Niswender, 86 of Columbus passed away September 16, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East, Columbus. She was born March 29, 1932 in Fostoria to the late Myron and Velma (Traucht) Snyder.

She is survived by her daughters, Jill Cavell of Columbus and Joy (Don) Snowden of Utica; grandchildren, Jenna Hope Iretta and Jesse Landon Marcum; nieces, Lindsay Boulboulle and Lori (Scott) Bulkowski; nephew, David (Mary) Boulboulle; brother-in-law, Mac (Denise) Niswender; dear friend, Jason Walters; numerous other dear relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Byron Niswender and sister, Jacquelin (James) Boulboulle

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in October.
