Juanita W. Booth A funeral service for Juanita W. Booth, 88 of Utica, will be held at 11 am, Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Utica Church of Christ, 115 N. Central Ave., Utica with Alan Pratt and Bruce Hissong officiating. Burial will follow in Bladensburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Utica Church of Christ. Mrs. Booth passed away on March 22, 2015 at the Selma Markowitz Center, Newark. She was born August 1, 1926, in Bladensburg to the late Parker and Wilma (Melick) Rine. She was a member of the Utica Church of Christ and chairman of the building committee. She formerly worked for the Utica Herald, North Fork Schools and Inter Church. She also worked for Bell Phone Company in Mt. Vernon and made the first intercontinental phone call. She was the first recipient of the Lynn Rodeniser Memorial Award for Outstanding Citizenship in 1976. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Roy Hodges of Newark, sons and daughter-in-law, Roderick and Cheryl Booth, Jonathan and Eustace Bennett Booth all of Utica, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Mary Booth of Utica. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Booth who passed away March 20, 1983 and brother, Donivan Rine. Memorial contributions may be made to the Utica Church of Christ, P.O.
