Judith A. Brown, 69 of Newark passed away January 20, 2017 at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon. She was born July 28, 1947, in Newark to the late Earl O. and Hazel I. (Wright) Westbrook.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Faith Fellowship Church, 1157 Union Station Rd., Granville.

Judy, a breast cancer survivor, was a member of Faith Fellowship Church, Granville and was retired from Newark Air Force Base. She was a volunteer at Licking Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed crafting and decorating bird houses.

She is survived by her son, Shawn (Julie Hurley) Brown of Utica; daughter, Kris Brown of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, Blayde, Brody, Bryson Brown and Wes Bowen; sister, Cathy Baker of Newark; nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Megan Brown; brother, Ronnie Westbrook.
