Julia (Judy) Ann (Dean) O'Hara
Newark - A funeral service for Julia (Judy) Ann (Dean) O'Hara, 72 of Newark will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 at Newark Church of the Nazarene, 200 S. Williams St.. Burial will follow at the Bell-Hays Cemetery, Utica.
Julia (Judy) Ann (Dean) O'Hara went to meet Jesus and to reunite with her late husband, William (Bill) O'Hara on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the age of 72. She was born on October 12, 1938 in Utica to the late Irene (Popham) and Kenneth Dean.
Julia was the oldest of six, Linda (E.W.) Brown of Michigan, Daniel "Danny" Dean of Utica, Donald "Lou" Dean (deceased), Mary VanWy and Betsy Hood both of Utica.
She is also survived by her six children, Brenda O'Hara of Newark, William "Jim" O'Hara of Newark, Kenneth "Kenny" (Jean) O'Hara of Tomah, Wisconsin, Karen (Bobby) Finley of Purity, Ohio, Robert "Rob" (Missy) O'Hara of Newark and Laurie O'Hara of Newark, 8 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many loved ones, friends and extended family.
In addition to Pappy and Granny, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and her brother Lou.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene and raised her children there as a young widow with six kids. Her life was spent loving God and helping others. Her life was a great testimony of faith that God will always be there. Her arms and home were always open and as a result she was a blessing to many and well loved.

Calling hours will be held 6-8 p.m., Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Law & Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica and 12-2 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 at Newark Church of the Nazarene, 200 S. Williams Street.
