Utica - Calling hours for Karl E. Stewart, 86 of Utica, will be held at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.. A military service will be held at 6:00 p.m.
Karl passed away June 14, 2015 at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon. He was born October 21, 1928, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Herman M. and Katherine (Stewart) Quecke.
Karl was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty J. (Studebaker) Stewart of Utica, sons and daughter-in-law, Karl "Ed" Edward Stewart of Gahanna, Jeff and Vicki Bowers of Troy, daughters and sons-in-law, Jill Peck of Lancaster, Susan and Ron O'Brien of Columbus, Amy and Michael Whitmore of Piqua, Jennifer and Shawn Grennell of Utica, grandchildren, Zabryon Stewart, Jamiee, Timothy and Addyson Siegle and twelve others, five great-grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law, Justin and Mary Quecke of Lake Tahoe, CA, sisters, Virginia Wigglesworth of Versailes, KY, Patricia Clawson of Columbus and Joan (his twin).
