A funeral service for Kathleen "Kathy" E. Hayward, 72 of Johnstown, will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Harmony Church, 7951 Harmony Church Rd., Johnstown with Pastor Jon Patton officiating.  A luncheon will immediately follow the service.

Friends may call Saturday, December 1, 2018, 10:00-11:30 am prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Hayward passed away November 27, 2018 at her residence. She was born May 29, 1946 in Detroit, MI to the late Leo and Lillian (Downey) Shustek.

Kathy was a member of Harmony Church. She worked at Tech Rubber, was an avid thrift store shopper and loved crocheting.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gary R. Hayward of Johnstown; sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald "Jerry" and Sharon Hayward of Johnstown, Gary and Dee Hayward of Delaware, Rob Hayward of Johnstown; daughter, Crystal Hayward of Johnstown; grandchildren, Brandy Brothers, Johnny Brothers, Brittany Hayward, Taylor (Robert Nauer) Hayward, Jodi (Austin Hogan) Hayward, Cassidy Brown, Cameron Brown, Samantha (Maurice) Milton, Lindsay (Samuel Goldring) Hayward and Hannah Hayward; sister, Barb Downey of Johnstown; sister-in-law, Marie Shustek of Macomb Twp, MI; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leo Shustek; mother, Lillian (Downey) Borrusch; great-grandson, Jackson Milton; brother, Gerald (Jerry) Shustek.
