Kathryn L. Bishop

utica - A funeral service for Kathryn L. Bishop, 83 of Utica, will be held at 11:00 a.am, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Bruce Hissong officiating. Burial will follow in Homer Cemetery.

Kathryn died June 19, 2010 at Centerburg Point Nursing Home. She was born August 8, 1926, in Licking County, Ohio to the late Eddie and Lela M. (Glover) Weiss.

She was a member of North Side Church of Christ and retired from The Miller Company. Kathryn loved sewing and helping her husband build houses.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dane and Kay Bishop of Utica; grandson, Richard (Benita) Bishop of Walhonding; great-granddaughters, Molly Bishop and Jenette (Jason) Burnett; great great-grandsons, Montana and Mason Burnett; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Bishop who passed away July 14, 2006; brother Paul
Weiss and sister, Isabelle Wilkinson.
