Katrina C. Burke, 63 of Utica passed away on March 26, 2026 at her residence. She was born on January 4, 1963 in Dover, OH.

Katrina served honorably in the U.S. Army. She worked several years for Chase Bank. Katrina will be remembered for her beautiful smile that could light up any room and her warm, outgoing spirit. She had a natural gift for making others feel welcome, and she truly was a friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed cross stitching.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy (Zehnder) Hochstetler; sons, Corey (Carissa) Burke, Chase Burke and Connor (Summer) Burke; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Mila, Cohen, Daxton, Rylan, Caden, SkiLynn and Cassius; brothers and sisters, Preston (Linda) Schaar, Tiffany (Josh) Gintz, Tara Hochstetler, Allen Schlabach and Melissa (Kevin) Wolter; brothers-in-law, Charles “Ed” (Lisa) Burke, Brad (Maura) Fischer and John Burke; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Paul Burke, Jr.; son, Colton Richard Burke; father, Richard Schaar; step-father, Willie Hochstetler; father-in-law, George Paul Burke, Sr.; mother-in-law, Kathryn S. (Nelson) Lambert; and brother-in-law, Jeff Burke.

The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica where the funeral service will begin at 1pm with Rev. Marvin Haught officiating. Burial will follow at Homer Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
