Keith A. Harter

Keith A. Harter, 63, of Newark passed away on September 26, 2016 peacefully after an extended illness. He was born on August 11, 1953 in Newark to the late Charles and Beverly (Dancey) Harter.
Keith was employed by Owens Corning for 38 years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed many hunting trips. He enjoyed his dogs, Oreo and Bella.
Keith is survived by his loving wife, Pam; son, Joshua (Alicia) Harter; step-children, Aaron (Courtney) Lichtenauer, Kristen Lichtenauer, Lauren Lichtenauer and Dylan Walpole; five grandchildren, Brock and Gavin Harter, Evan, Brandt and Ian Lichtenauer; sisters, Karen (Joe) Hedrick and Kristie (Mark) McCoy; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 24 years, Jodie A. Harter; and parents, Charles and Beverly Harter.
Keith requests that contributions in his name be made to his daughter's non profit, Christopher's Promise. A charity that provides adaptive bicycles for children with disabilities. Donations may be made at www.christopherspromise.org.
Keith's final wishes were that no calling hours are to be held. A private family service will be held at Barnes Cemetery. Law-Baker Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
