A funeral service for Kenneth W. Butler, 78, of Mt. Vernon will be held at 1p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Pastor Jim Young officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

Ken passed away on December 1, 2019 at Ahuja Hospital. He was born on May 29, 1941 in Mt. Vernon to the late Willis W. and Anna (Parker) Butler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sue (Daubenmier) Butler; daughters, Shelley (John Chase) Butler and Amy (Chris) Yuill; one grandson, Chance Yuill; sisters, Bette Merriman and Rose (Randy) Sunart; sister-in-law, Katharine Bugbee; brother-in-law, John (Pat) Daubenmier; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers-in-laws, Duain Merriman and Bob Bugbee.
