Reverend Lenora Maxine Pardee, 79 of Johnstown, died January 14, 2017 at Westminster Thurber Nursing Home, Columbus. She was born July 1, 1937, in Ravenswood, WV to the late Ross and Leora (Brewer) Grimes.
Reverend Pardee graduated from Miami University and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She ministered at Presbyterian churches in Western and Central Pennyslvania and Southern New York.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jamie Pardee of Johnstown, OH, son, James Ross Pardee of Rochester, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Edward Carlson of Buffalo, NY; seven grandchildren, Kim Clark of PA, Diana Carlson of NC, Sarah McLaughlin of NC, Ed (Megan) Carlson of PA, Annika Pardee of Johnstown, OH, Shalon (Jake) Cassady of Zanesville, OH, Ross Pardee of Frazeysburg, OH; six great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Maryann Grimes of East Liverpool, OH; sister-in-law, Cathy Grimes of Cleveland, OH.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Roy Grimes.
