Leroy Lawson, 85 of Utica passed away on June 18, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on November 29, 1936 in Westerville to the late Roy and Rachel (DeBoard) Lawson.

Leroy served honorably in the U.S. Air Force and was a life member of the Utica American Legion Post 92.  He retired from Owens Corning after 30+ years.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marilyn M. (Walters) Lawson; daughters, Brenda (Larry) Beaver and Lori Cooksey; grandchildren, Waylon (Molly) Beaver and Corey (Amber) Beaver; great-grandchildren, Kaylon, Lee, Carson and Illa Beaver; brother, Tommy (Kathy) Lawson; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Randy Lawson; brother, Danny Lawson; sister, Betty Gleason; and son-in-law, Ross Cooksey.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.
