Linda L. Allen, 80, of Newark went to be with Jesus on January 22, 2024 at her daughter's residence. She was born on January 13, 1944 in Columbus to the late Lonnie Leroy and Myrtle M. (McCorkle) Powell.

Linda was a member of Jersey Baptist Church. She enjoyed pilates at the YMCA, line dancing and bible study at the winery, playing the guitar and dulcimer, and crossword puzzles. She retired from Farnsworth Financial Services and was a volunteer for Generation Hospice. She loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Philip (Leigh) Cascioli and Joseph (Laurie) Allen; daughters, Lori (Keith) Matthews and Stacia (Eric) Fritchie; seven grandchildren, Ashley (David) See, Matt (Della) Carver, Alexis (Matt) Robinson, Connor Allen, Philip Allen, Jack Fritchie and Riley Fritchie; seven great-grandchildren; special friend, Richard Powell; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Philip H. Cascioli Allen; son-in-law, Keith Carver; daughter-in-law, Connie Allen; brothers, William, Ronald, Donald, Lonnie, James and Robert Powell; and sister, Donna Jean Webster.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Jersey Baptist Church, 13260 Morse Rd., New Albany. Memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Jersey Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Read officiating. Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date.
