Lova M. Pierce
A funeral service for Lova M. Pierce, 90, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Shivers and Pastor Bob Long officiating. Burial will follow in Homer Cemetery.
Lova died January 23, 2011 at Mount Carmel St. Ann's, Westerville. She was born November 28, 1920, in Black Oak, Ohio to the late Elmer B. and Retta M. (Murphy) Holland.
Lova was a member of Bennington Chapel Methodist Church where she played piano until two weeks prior to her death.
She is survived by her sons, Frederick F. Pierce, Jr. of Reynoldsburg, James W. Pierce of Mount Vernon; daughters, Emily Pierce Martello of Clarkston, MI, Lova Darlene Pierce Schwartz of Mount Vernon; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, her church family and many phone friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Frederick F. Pierce, Sr. who passed away June 7, 1998, great-grandson, Caleb E. Lange and her five siblings.
