Lucas Alan Scarabino 43, of Utica Ohio, passed away on June 28th, 2023 after he fought a long battle with Leukemia.

Lucas Alan Scarabino was born on  June 10th 1980 to Cecilia Dunne-Scarabino and Donald Melvin Dunne in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After Lucas Alan Scarabino graduated from APW High School in 1998, he went on to study Accounting at Phoenix University.

He started his passion of cooking as a chef and proceeded to open his own food cart. After graduating with a degree in Accounting, Lucas went on to a 4 year career as an Account manager at Rent To Own.

In 2012, Lucas Alan Scarabino met the love of his life Shelia Mashel (Baughman) Scarabino in Columbus,Ohio. Prior to meeting Lucas, Shelia Mashel Scarabino had 3 daughters Amber Nicole Holmes, Chelsea Marie Brenner and Shaun Mashel Brenner. Lucas accepted Shelia's daughters as his own. Lucas and Shelia also have a granddaughter Alayna Marie Tisher whom they love and cherish. Alayna had a very close relationship with Lucas (G-Pa). They were best friends.

In Lucas Alan Scarabino's  life he spent his time listening to music, spending time with family and his close friends Jared Nethers, Trey Recter and Jackie Birtchol.  He loved to dance, loved life and lived in the moment. He was well versed in the knowledge of cars and he was very passionate and enjoyed building computers. Lucas loved to travel and has been to 12 states in the US. Lucas made a huge impact in the Utica community,  loved helping people and he was loved by many.

Lucas Alan Scarabino was predeceased by his parents Cecilia Dunne-Scarabino and Donald Melvin Dunn and  Grandparents Francis Lawrence Scarabino, Mary Scarabino.

He is survived by his wife Shelia Mashel Scarabino, his step-daughters Amber Nicole Holmes and her boyfriend Calvin Earl Hamilton, Chelsea Marie Brenner and her boyfriend David Tisher and Shaun Mashel Brenner.  His Siblings Lisa Scarabino and her spouse Shawn Maher and their children Austin Dickerson, Alexis Maher, Beau Scarabino and Kayla Smith. Crystal Dunne-Criswell and her spouse Jim Criswell. Angel Dunne, Pat Dunne, Chris Dunne and Anthony Dunne. His Aunt Marlene O'Grady and her spouse, his Uncle Kevin O'Grady and their children, his cousins Kathryn Christine Twyford, Michael William O'Grady and Mark Thomas O'Grady.  His Aunt Theresa Hill.
