Newark - Calling hours for Mabel V. Knowlton, 87 of Newark, will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010, 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael McNerney officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Mabel died March 31, 2010 her residence. She was born April 5, 1922, in Lock, Ohio to the late John and Mary (Brown) Saunders.
Mabel worked at Geoprgia Pacific in Newark for 28 years.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Valorie and Michael McNerney of Newark; grandsons, Michael D. and Diana Trueblood of Phoenix, AZ, Eric M. and Christina McNerney of Newark; great-grandchildren, Dominic McNerney and Kairi McNerney; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gordon and Lucille Saunders of Newark, Kenneth and Pauline Saunders of Mount Vernon; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Don Lewis of Fallsburg, Mike Ludwig of Utica.
She is preceded in death by her son, Elmer Knowlton who passed away March 17, 2010.
