A memorial service for Marcella Rose (Leasure) Flowers, 78 of Utica, OH formerly of Bluffton, SC, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Utica Presbyterian Church, 9 S. Main St. with Pastor Terry Holobaugh officiating.

Mrs. Flowers passed away January 28, 2017 at Selma Markowitz Center/LMH, Newark, OH. She was born January 12, 1939, in Newark, OH to the late Grover A. and Rosalie E. (Kitchen) Leasure.

Marcella attended a non-denominational church in Hilton Head Island, SC and was active in Celebrate Recovery. She worked for over 20 years at The Cypress of Hilton Head Island. Marcella enjoyed flowers and gardening and loved cats.

She is survived by her three grandchildren, Tim (Lauren) Marcum, Ashley Marcum and Jacob Flowers; great-granddaughters, Gwen and Joslyn Marcum; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Louise Leasure of Newark, OH; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dianna Thomas of Utica, OH, Sharon and Jerry Cashdollar of Newark, OH, Laura and Richard Hardman of Howard, OH; stepsons, Robert and Richard (Ellen) Flowers; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Flowers; sons, Mark and Tim Flowers; daughter, Jennifer Marcum; granddaughter, Sarah Flowers.
