Marie B. Yoakam
Homer - A funeral service for Marie B. Yoakam, 92 of Homer, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Marvin Haught officiating. Burial will follow in Homer Cemetery.
Marie died February 26, 2012 at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon. She was born February 17, 1920, in Licking County to the late Marshall W. and Hallie (Farmer) Dunlap.
Marie was a member of Highwater Congregational Church UCC and was co-owner with her husband, Leland, for over 30 years of Yoakam Antiques. She loved her friends and visiting with them.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia M. Yoakam of Homer who adored her mother and will treasure her forever.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leland A. Yoakam who passed away April, 1997, step-mother, Esther Dunlap and sister, Wanda L. Stevens.
