Marilyn Sue Butler, 81, of Chagrin Falls, OH passed away on August 24, 2026 at Meadow Falls of Chagrin. She was born on December 2, 1944 in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Arthur and Gladys (Young) Daubenmier

Sue graduated from Northridge North High School. She enjoyed flower gardening, baking, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelley (John Chase) Butler and Amy Scott; grandson, Chance Yuill; brother, John (Pat) Daubenmier; sisters-in-law, Bette Merriman and Rose (Randy) Sunart; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Butler; and sister, Katharine Bugbee.

The family will receive friends from 12-1pm on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. Funeral service will be held at 1pm with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
