Marlon F. Brooks, 65, passed away in his Howard, Ohio home on May 22, 2025.  He was born on July 18, 1959 in Norwalk, Ohio, the fifth of six children born to Mildred L. (Campbell) Yates and Karl W. Brooks Jr.

Marlon is survived by brother Greg Brooks; sisters and brother-in-law, Ellen and Carl Ferch and Karen Scheid; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Geoffrey Brooks, and sister, Dianne Boyd.

Visitation for "Mert" will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 12:30 - 1:00 pm at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St,  Utica, OH where a memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dave Jones officiating.
