Obituary

Marsha L. Hall

July 2, 1954-April 7, 2018

Marsha L. Hall, 63 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 unexpectedly at her residence. She was born, July 2, 1954, in Louisa, KY to the late Shirley C. (Burchett) Householder.

Marsha found her calling as a registered nurse and spent her career helping and caring for people. Most recently, she worked at HCR ManorCare until she retired in 2016.

She was fierce for and loyal to her family and anyone she cared about. She was the family's historian, mostly behind the camera instead of in front of it. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, arts and crafts, scrap booking and time with her dog, Riley. Marsha was known for her contagious laugh and laughing eyes. She made everyone's life that she touched special and made everyone she was with feel special because she was special. While her passing leaves an empty spot, we know her presence on this earth touched many lives.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Robert L. Hall; son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. (Melissa) Hall, Jr.; daughter, Diana Lynn Pierce; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol (Joe) Bryan, Angela (Shane) Myers, and Alice (Frank) Jamez; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Denna Louise Hall: and son-in-law, Raymond Pierce.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 3PM-7PM at the American Legion, Post 92 Utica.
