A funeral service for Martha E. Wagner, 100, of Mount Vernon, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Rev. John Capper officiating. Burial will follow in Homer Cemetery.

Friends may call 10-11 am, Saturday, March 18 at the funeral home..

Mrs. Wagner passed away March 13, 2017 at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon. She was born August 29, 1916, in Lock to the late Bert and Della (Wenger) Hawkins.

She was a longtime member of Gay St. United Methodist Church, Mt. Vernon and a member of the Eastern Star. Martha was a seamstress and loved to read..

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, G. Daniel and Victoria Wagner; daughter, Carolyn Dunham; grandchildren, Gayle Dunham, Scott Dunham, Kendra Ross, Alicia Wagner, Meghan Siegel-Wagner, Jeanine Domonkos, George Quay.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Wagner; son, James Henry Wagner; brothers, Forest and Howard Hawkins; sisters, Eva Warner-Hoar, Ruth Bruce and Theresa Cochran.
