Columbus - A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mary Elizabeth Cree, 67 of Columbus, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Broad St. United Methodist Church, 501 E. Broad St., Columbus.

Ms. Cree passed away January 10, 2016 at Ohio State University James Cancer Center, Columbus. She was born February 24, 1948, in Mount Vernon to the late James E. and Mary F. (Curtis) Cree.

Mary Elizabeth was a member of Broad St. United Methodist Church and Manna Cafe. She graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and was involved with the Ohio Junior Miss organization.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James Curtis and Alice Cree of Howard, nephews, James "Jace" (Amy) Cree of Utica, Mike Cree of Galion, Cliff (Jenni) Cree of Dover, great nieces and nephews, Ian and Ryan Cree, Cami, Riley and Cash Cree, special friends, Anna Hughes and Brian Johnson and her many friends at the Broad St. United Methodist Church.
