Mary Lucile Saunders, age 100, passed away on April 5, 2025. Lucile was born on June 3, 1924, in Hartford Twp, to the late Darwin M. and Ethel A. (Shipley) Fiddler.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Gordon E. Saunders; son, David Saunders; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Lucile is survived by her children, Linda (John) Baney, Anita Wonders, Mark (Cynthia) Saunders, Rose Saunders, Dawn (Mark) McCoy, Eve (Dave) McDonald and Marvin Saunders; 17 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on April 8, 2025, from 11 AM - 1 PM, at the Brucker Baker Funeral Home, 34 North Main Street, Utica. Her service will immediately follow at 1PM with Pastor Cory Campbell officiating, the burial will take place in Wilson Cemetery.
