Max Dodson
Mount Vernon - A graveside service for Max Dodson, 92 of Utica, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2010 at Homer Cemetery with Reverend Timothy Flanagan officiating.
Max died August 18, 2010 at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon. He was born November 25, 1917, in Virginia.
Max was a graduate of West Virginia University and a World War II Navy veteran. He loved farming in his retirement years. He was involved in his children's activities, FFA, T-Ball and was a 4 H advisor. His grandchildren were the love of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rose M. (Camacci) Dodson and daughter, Rebecca D. Dodson both of Utica; son, Anthony Max Dodson of Waynesburg, PA; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jonathan and Benjamin and mother-in-law, Rachel Camacci of Waynesburg, PA.
Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica is assisting the family with arrangements.
There will be a gathering at Homer Fire House after the graveside service.
