Michael "Butch" D. Krehlik

Newark - A funeral service for Michael "Butch" D. Krehlik, 72 of Newark, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Utica United Methodist Church, 626 North St. with Pastor Ken Kelley officiating.

Friends may call 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the church.

Michael "Butch" died May 18, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 29, 1941, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to the late Michael D. and Golda (McCartney) Krehlik.

Butch worked at Baker Welding, Columbus and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary J. (Fabish) Krehlik of Newark; sons and daughter-in-law, Mark J. Krehlik of Havelock, NC, Michael D Jr. and Sheri Krehlik of Mt. Gilead; grandsons, Michael D IV, Keaton Krehlik, granddaughter, Haven Krehlik; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Gladys Krehlik of Reno, NV.

He is preceded in death by three sisters and brothers-in-law.
