Mildred L. Arrington

A funeral service for Mildred L. Arrington, 94 of Newark, formerly of Utica, will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Pastor Tim Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Law-Baker Funeral Home.

Mrs. Arrington passed away on November 17, 2017 at Flint Ridge Nursing Home in Newark. She was born on March 15, 1923 in Knox County to the late Frederick L. and Edith M. (Hartupee) Moreland.

Mildred was a long time Utica resident. She always had a smile and great sense of humor.

She is survived by her children, Linda S. Wyeth, Phyllis J. Arrington, Frederick L. (Judy A.) Arrington, Doris J. Clark, Darlene K. Swank, Catherine R. Arrington, Mary R.(Dennis) Bullock, John R. (Wilma) Arrington, Carl W. Arrington and Virginia M. Arrington; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Freida Ramey; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse F. Arrington who passed May 7, 1995; brothers, Charles, Dale, Olen Reid and A. Lee Moreland; and sister, Juanita Brokaw.
