Utica- Family and friends may call anytime at the residence, 1980 Cullison Rd. for Mose J. Swartzentruber, 89 of Utica, until the service Wednesday, June 15, 2015 at 9:00 AM at the residence. Burial will follow in Swartzentruber Cemetery on the family farm.

Mose passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his home. He was born on September 26, 1932 in Wayne County, OH to the late Jacob and Barbara (Yoder) Swartzentruber.

He was married December 1, 1953 to Saloma D. Hershberger.  She died January 12, 2015.  He was a member of the old order Amish Church.

He is survived by 8 sons, Daniel (Verna) Swartzentruber of Harmony, MN, Jacob (Saloma) Swartzentruber of Utica, OH, Sam (Lovina) Swartzentruber of the home, Levi Swartzentruber of Wadsworth, OH, Emanuel (Katie) Swartzentruber of Long Prairie, MN, Dennis (Sevilla) Swartzentruber of Canton, MN, Noah (Cevilla) Swartzentruber of Long Prairie, MN, Enos (Mary) Swartzentruber of Long Prairie, MN; 4 daughters, Mattie (Jacob) Zook, Mary (Ephraim) Zook both of Chesley, Ontario, Barbara (Chris) Hershberger of Hartshorn, MO, Anna (Dan) Yoder of Mercer, MO; 123 Grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Miller of Apple Creek, OH; and daughter-in-law, Lydia Swartzentruber of Long Prairie , MN

He was preceded in death by his wife, Saloma D. (Hershberger) Swartzentruber; 3 sons, Jerry, David and Andy; 4 grandchildren; and brothers and sisters.
