Neil E. McDonald
Newark - A funeral service for Neil E. McDonald, 70 of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2010 at Law-Baker Funeral Home with William E. Barrick officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery, Utica.
Neil died June 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 13, 1939, in Licking County to the late Walter and Alice M. (Cassna) McDonald.
He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall. Neil retired from Gummer Wholesale in 2009 and was a farmer and brick mason.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Louise (Angeletti) McDonald of Newark; son, Neal Cowan McDonald of Newark; three step-children, Eddie and Heidi Hartrum of Frazeysburg, Christina Hartrum of Newark, Kellie and Randy Wellman of Mount Vernon; friends, Brian Hartrum, Rick Woods and Greg Woods.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Webb and sister, Romaine.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 2740 Newark-Granville Rd., Granville, OH 43023.
Friends may call 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica.
