Norma J. Rees

A graveside service for Norma J. Rees, 92, of Newark will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Wilson Cemetery with David Beverly officiating.

Mrs. Rees passed away on May 22, 2021 at Arlington Care Center in Newark.  She was born on March 14, 1929 in Bath, IL to the late James William and Lena Mary (Bair) Miller.

Norma was a member of the Newark Church of God.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Alan) Swartz of Indianapolis, IN; son, Russell (Diane) Lawyer of Atlanta, GA.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Larry Rees and Russell Lawyer, Sr.; son, William Allan McCauley; granddaughters, Cari Lynn and Lori Ann Swartz; brother, James Miller; and sisters, Hazel and Bertha.
