Orpha Hershberger

A funeral service for Orpha Hershberger, 77 of Gambier, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Melita Christian Fellowship with Alan Byler and Dave Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Melita Cemetery.

Orpha died April 21, 2013 at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon. She was born September 25, 1935, in Lagrange, Indiana to Daniel J. and Elnora "Yoder" Yoder.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years whom she married March 17, 1955 Melvin E. Hershberger of Gambier, sons and daughters-in-law Marion J. and Verna Hershberger of Holmesville, Marvin R. and Erma Hershberger of Baltic, Wayne A. and Ruth Hershberger of Gambier, Steven E. and Arletta Hershberger of Linn, Missouri, sisters, Katie and Hank Mullet of Nappanee, Indiana, Wilma and Levi Yoder of Gambier, Martha and Sam Hostetler of Linn, Missouri, 18 Grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Linda D. Hershberger, sisters Verna Click, Amanda Mast, Anna Mae Bontrager, brother Joe Yoder and 3 Grandchildren.

Friends may call 6-8 Monday April 22 and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday April 23 at the Melita Christian Fellowship, 9956 Camp Ohio Rd. N.E. Utica.
