Pamela J. Dixon, 71, of Centerburg passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2016 with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. She was born on May 29, 1945 in Columbus, OH.
Pam retired from Columbus Auto Parts. In retirement she enjoyed raising birds which gave her peace and joy. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, William J. Dixon; daughters, Evelyn (Robert) Vance of Croton, Tina (Bill) Pangborn of Buckeye Lake and Evone (Gregg) Cooke of Columbus; son, Duane Micheal (Lori) Newland of Fredericktown; sisters, Diana (Jim) Nelson of Florida and Rose (Richard) Maddox of Lexington; brother, Steve (Vicki) Lutz; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and her first great-great-grandchild due in August; many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth "Betty" (Eisnaugle) Lutz; son, Richard Jennings; and brother, Barry Lutz.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. prior to the service.
