Patricia A. Beck, age 95, passed away on Sunday evening at Middleton. She was born on January 18, 1923 in Brandon, Ohio to the late Harold "Pat" and Burdett Williams.
Pat went to the one room school in Brandon. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1941, the same year she married her high school sweetheart Robert (Bob) Beck. They had two daughters and lived in Mt. Vernon until PPG closed down and they moved to Burkburnett, Texas. After retirement they moved back to Utica where they were able to enjoy their family. They spent 57 years together until Bob passed away in December of 1999.
She volunteered at the Wichita Humane Society for 12 years along with her husband. They had multiple pound puppies for many years. In her later years she loved to sit on the porch and rock in her rocking chair and feed the birds and squirrels while living at her granddaughters home.
People that cared for her in her later years were, one of her best friends Susie Elliott whom made her life joyful. She also had amazing care given to her while she lived at Primrose Retirement and Middleton Senior Living.
Grandma Who Who was a dear sweet little lady, she was very witty and enjoyed life. She loved her family. She attended Community Christian Fellowship Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brothers Eddie Ayers, Jack and Richard Williams.
She is survived by daughters, Pamela (Tom) Sanor and Teresa "CeCe" Buker. Grandchildren, Kelly (Mark) Schwartz and Gregg (Kim) Coe. Great-Grandchildren, Natasha (Joshua) Lester, Chelsea (Andrew) Link, Taylor (Jake) Dice, Cale (Kami) Coe. Great-Great-Grandchildren, Kadden, Peyton and Jaxon Lester, Brent and Marcus Link, Waylon Dice, Bryson and Kayden Coe.
Pat requested that there only be graveside services, it will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018 at South Lawn Cemetery in Utica.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be sent to Knox County Humane Society.
