Patricia S. (Cochran) Wheeler (Sis) passed from this life into the arms of our savior on June 15, 2023. She was born in Utica, OH to Dana and Laura Belle (Edwards) Cochran on December 29, 1941.

A lifelong resident of the Utica area, Patricia married the love of her life Arthur (Artie) Wheeler in 1958, and their journey began. Always the life of the party, she knew no strangers, and all were welcomed to her porch for a sit-down and a cup of coffee.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Artie and brother, Terry Holmes.

Sis is survived by her son, James (Pamela) Wheeler Sr.; daughter, Laura (Mark) Jenkins of Utica; grandchildren, James (Erin) Wheeler Jr, Mark (Tesia) Jenkins, Dana (Matt) Weigand of Utica; great grandchild, Shayla Wheeler of Utica; brothers, Don (Linda) Cochran of Newark, James (Karen) Holmes, John Holmes of Mt Vernon; several nephews, nieces, and a multitude of friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 18, 2023, from 3 – 6 PM at the Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 Main Street, Utica. Her funeral service will follow on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 11 Am with Pastor Roger Crego officiating. Burial in Wilson Cemetery.

In the blink of an eye, as the last piece of sand falls to the bottom of the hourglass, our time on this earth is just a fleeting moment. As you move on to your great reward your loved ones will be sad about their loss but joyous knowing that there is no more pain and suffering.
