A funeral service for Paul R. Branstool, 78 of Mount Vernon, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica with Alan Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mount Vernon.

Friends may call 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the funeral home.

Mr. Branstool passed away May 8, 2016 at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon. He was born July 9, 1937, in Mount Vernon to the late Paul and Madeline (Tucker) Branstool.

Paul was a member of Utica Church of Christ. He was an original member of the PRC (Professional Rodeo Cowboys). He was a horse farrier and trained horses for 57 years. Paul was a jack of all trades. He loved his wife, family, friends and his dogs.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Belinda L. (Crane) Branstool of Mount Vernon; children, Connie (Dean) Rule, Tom (Jeanell) Branstool, Tim (Lisa) Branstool, Chad (Tonya) Hull, Linden Hull; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and father-in-law, Ronald Crane.
