A funeral service for Paul F. Torrens, 50 of Columbus, will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.

Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the funeral home.

Paul passed away May 3, 2018 at Ohio State Ross Heart Hospital, Columbus. He was born January 20, 1968 in Newark to Stephen and Joann (Kreager) Torrens.

He graduated from Utica High School with the class of 1986. He worked for North Fork Schools, San Antonio Schools and Rumpke. Paul will be missed by everyone he met with his big smile, jokes and laughs.

His proudest moments were when he worked for O'Do Acres and was most recently employed by Shipley Dairy Farm. Paul was called the Cow Whisperer because he could do anything with his animals. He was always in the show ring at Hartford Fair, Ohio State Fairs and was most proud of his showing skills at the All American Cattle Shows in Louisville, KY.

He is survived by his parents; his partner, Jeff Garza; brother, Andrew (Candy) Torrens; sister, Stephanie (Larry) Green; aunts and uncles, Gene and Mary Jo Branstool and Russell and Donna Kreager; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Agnes Torrens and maternal grandparents, Russell and Helen Kreager.
