Peggie Lynn Palmer

A memorial service for Peggie Lynn Palmer, 69, of Utica, formerly of Steubenville will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Truth Tabernacle Church, 1371 Sportsman Club Rd. NW, Newark with Pastor Greg Sheets, Robert Wood and James Wood officiating.

Peggie passed away on September 6, 2020 at her residence. She was born on September 16, 1950 in Steubenville to the late William A. and Mildred I. (Sloan) Dreyer.

She was a member of Truth Tabernacle Church and worked for many years at Creegan Company, among many duties she was Mrs. Claus. She was known for her baking, music and love for God. She was an excellent teacher of scriptures. Peggie had a quick wit and great sense of humor. She made life fun and enjoyable. She prioritized God and her family.

Peggie is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jan and Larry Rohrbaugh and Jenny and Roger Waugh; three grandchildren, Jenna Spitler, Jacob and Logan Rohrbaugh; brother and sister-in-law, William and Phyllis Dreyer; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Dennis Staley; best friend and bonus sister, Mary Ann (Robert) Wood; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John M. Palmer; and sister, Shirley Judson.
