Randy Clayton
Centerburg - A memorial service for Randy Clayton, 57 of Centerburg, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the House of New Hope, 8135 Mount Vernon Rd., St. Louisville with Pastor Roger Crego officiating. Immediately following the service there will be a gathering for friends and family until 8:00 p.m.
Randy died February 9, 2013 at his residence after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was born April 9, 1955, in Croton to the late Giles R. and Norma J. (Law) Clayton.
Randy was employed by Law General Contracting. He was known as a one man band playing guitar and banjo in the area for 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with family and friends telling stories. Randy also liked restoring old John Deere tractors and machinery.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Diana L. (Schonauer) Clayton of Centerburg, sisters and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Rephard Reed of Centerburg, Cherie Green of Galena, niece, Brandy (Bill) Sullivan of Johnstown, great nieces, Rachel Lippert and Sierra Sullivan, great nehpew, C. J. Sullivan, mother-in-law, Pat Schonauer of Centerburg, father-in-law, Dick (Debbie) Schonauer of Centerburg, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
